Re: [orca-list] What is QT and why would we use it?

Hello Glenn,

Qt is a graphical toolkit used for developing graphical applications.
For the last few years the Qt developers have been working on making
Qt more accessible to screen readers and apps written with Qt 5 should
be fairly accessible out of the box.

Cheers!

Hi,
I read a reference to QT when I enquired about vBox, now QT is being
mentioned again.

Can someone tell me what it is, and why it is needed?

I looked it up on the web, but did not find any real answers to my
questions.

Thanks.
Glenn
