[orca-list] Mint and orca

Can Mint be used with Orca?
I have to get Sighted help to install Linux on my current computer as it was a Windows laptop when I 
originally bought it and although secure boot has been disabled etc, a key combination appears to have to be 
press on startup to be able to boot from the CD or DVD as most distros seem to take up more space than will 
fit on a CD. 
I am considering Mint as I have never really had much luck in playing some of my DVDs
