[orca-list] orca's handling of ellipsis

hi all
I've noticed for quite a while that when ever orca encounters an
ellipsis character, three periods in a row, rather then letting the
speech synth handle this, it inserts dot dot dot into the text. Espeak
and eloquence both handle this character just fine, and I like the way
they handle it better, but I hesitate to just remove it altogether,
since there might be some synths that can't handle them. If I comment
out the SpokenElipsis="dot dot dot" line in messages.py though, orca
freezes solid when it's restarted and won't speak again until it's
re-installed, restoring a clean copy of that file. Does anyone else
want to leave it up to the synthesizer to ahndle this character? Or
does anyone know how to  change this?
