hi all
I'm in the process of learning python, so I can improve the only daisy
player for linux I could get to compile and run, dbr. Unfortunately it
only seems to support daisy 2 audio. It needs updating to support
daisy 2 text, and full text and audio, as well as daisy 3. I've got
teh daisy standards documents, so I know a little bit about the
standards. I need anyone who knows more about python than I do, and
can either already code using pygtk or who can quickly figure it out,
this stuff is way over my head for now. If anyone is interested,
please email me at coffeekingms gmail com  I realize this is
completely OT for thsi list, but it's  the only non distro specific
blind list I am on. I might also need in the future anyone who knows
more about the gnu toolchain, how to make makefiles, etc. The package
already has some makefiles, but I'm not sure they work, or how to
maintain them
