Corebird is pretty nice. Crashes somewhat frequently, however. It also
stops refreshing if you switch networks--wandering between access
points, for instance--so you'll have to be aware to restart if you move
around.

No good alternatives for sophisticated tweeting so far as I am aware. I've
used Gwibber in Ubuntu for quick status updates and quick tweets. Can't
read your time line well so, that part sucks. Used Smuxi which is an irc
client with a Twitter Plugin and that worked OK but you use old school
syntax on it. Pidgin has a microblogging plugin but it's pretty basic. I
eahr some folks use a program called Ttyter which is perl-based and works in
the command line. It's supposed to be quite nice. Personally, I use my
phone for all my tweeting these days. Best solution I've found.

Hello all,
looking for Gnome Twitter clients. I checked out CoreBird but it seems
rather limited at this time. In particular, I want to open individual
timelines and I didn't see this in the client. Also, documentation is
limited. Are there alternatives?
Robert
