Subject: Re: [orca-list] Your opinion on radio button and check box
presentation?

Hi,
I would like it to be element name followed by state, radiobutton
checked/unchecked. I think both checkbox and radiobuttons should report as
checked/unchecked. Selected seems like it would have more to do with text
and cut/paste. Also, checked and unchecked have fewer sylables than selected
and unselected so would take slightly less time to read thereby increasing
speed at which information is delivered to the user.
Lol... maybe I'm being too technical?
Thanks
Storm

I vote for consistency. Let it all be selected rather than checked.

Hey all.

Given a checked/selected widget labeled foo, Orca says:

* Foo selected radio button
* Foo check box checked

I know it's minor, but inconsistency bugs me. And these feel like they
are inconsistent for no good reason. So... Is there a valid reason why
they are different, other than "it's always been that way"? Or does
this nit annoy you as well?
