Hi Joanie.
I've good news and bad news.
The good news: the fix works.
The bad news: I've a file in which the fix works partially, although 
after some investigation I discovered that the same behavior happens 
with orca 3.10.
The definitive answer is that the problem seem to be fiexed, at least 
for me.
