Hi folks,
I'm running ubuntu 13.4 and orca.
I just received, and connected a usb to rs232 dongle and connected my
BrailleNote.
The brltty config file has been edited to tell the system to connect
to the serial port via usb.
I have told orca to use braille. But orca doesn't come up with braille support.
If I gho into a terminal and type brltty it seems to run, but there is
no braille.
Then I do a
sudo killall -9 brltty
and
sudo brltty -d ttyUSB0 -b bn
And only then do I get braille output.
To make sure you get braille on boot, edit /etc/default/brltty and follow the info in that file to enable
BrlTTY at boot.
