Another thing you may want to do is change your Google Search settings
to open up search result links in a new tab. This way you can just hit
enter instead of control+enter to open up a search result in it's own
tab and not lose your place in the search results.

I think you're saying that you'll click on a link in a web page, that
new web page will be loaded and then when you go back to the original
page, with something like alt+left-arrow, you end up at the beginning
of the page instead of on the link you clicked on. Is this right?
If so, I'd suggest loading the new page in a new tab with something
like the control+enter key. When you're done reading the new page, you
can get back to the original page by either closing the new tab with
control+w or going back to the previous tab with control+page-up. This
is what I do with Orca, NVDA and JAWS on either Ubuntu or Windows.

Hi all,
I use Firefox to surf the web. this is going well. but i have one
"problem"
if i go to an prev site, the caret is alway on the begin of the website.
it would be more helpful if the caret is on the place i clicked on a
link.
it seems to be on the orca caret. if i turn the orca caret of - the
cursor is on the place i clicked on a link. But without orca caret, its
hard to navigate and it feels slower.
can anybody help? does anybody understand what i mean :D?
