Hello Jonathan!
  I tried the control + alt + o combination, but nothing happened. Then I 
simply executed the orca command using alt + f2. then it is talking and 
strangely even the braille display is working with this version of BRLTTY, 
although it's still the 4.4 version. Strange, for that didn't work with Arch. 
:-)
  Another thing is, that I can't quit the installation tool, once it's going. 
I accidentally hit a wrong language. I finally got a quit dialogue, wiht no 
buttons or other actors though and pressing control + q in that window only 
caused it toclose and get me back into the installation assistent.
