1. Submit a bug report if there isn't one in Bugzilla already.

2. Use shell commands to achieve whatever you're trying to do with a directory
containing hundreds of files. For example, you should be able to use ls, find
etc., to identify the files you need to act upon and then shell commands to
move or delete or whatever is necessary.
