I just tonight installed a copy of the Classic Sonar 13 Alpha. I know that
alphas can be quite broken, but I couldn't find a link anywhere else after
googling for any other version. All I see is the classic and the mint
versions of 13 alpha. At any rate, I got it installed just fine, but when I
hit insert+space now to open up Orca preferences, absolutely nothing is
happening. I also tried capslock+space bar just in case, but that isn't
working either. I even tried alt+F2, then typing orca, and hitting enter to
restart it, as I heard a while back that sometimes Orca does this where
it'll kind a get a little hung, and decide to be gay. Anyhow, no matter
what I do, it's not working. Not only did I have this issue after
installing, but I'm even having it on the live CD. So, I'm wonderring...
has something changed in the most recent version of Orca? Do you not do
modifier+space anymore to get at the prefs? I even went in my alt+F1 menu
to universal access, then to Orca Screen Reader, although I suspect all that
did is just reloaded Orca. Alt+Tab isn't taking me to the orca main window
either. I think by default in Sonar, it's set to not show the main window.
So, I'm just totally stumped where to go next. Can I get a little hand
please?
Thanks.
Chris.,
