Smuxi has a Twitter interface to it too. I think Pidgin does too. Or, you
can visit

And just use the mobile interface. I've had success with that in the past
with Linux althought it did act up on me once or twice.

I think there is aomething called corebird as a gui twitter client?
Check your distro's repos. For Arch, it's in the AUR. I use ttytter and
the web front end called easychirp.org.
