Hello,
I think keyboard layout specific differences are not taken into account
while dealing with this command.
After pressing orca+h in firefox I can press key situated to the right
of the 0 key in the upper row and the screen reader wil announce
equals advance live region politeness
This is with slovak keyboard layout in use.
After switching to english keyboard layout it works the same way but it
announces something different instead
dash advance live region politeness
So Either you have overridden this shourtcut key or there is some other
kind of incompatibility.
Greetings
Peter

Hi all.
In orca's preferences, specifically for firefox, I've the following:
Advance live region politeness setting. backslash
However seems that the \ key causes no effect in my machine, even in
the learn mode.
If I am in FF and press capslock+h and then I press the \ key, only
the name of the key is announced.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.
