Re: [orca-list] how good will be the gnome shell edition of Ubuntu 13.04?

If you hit the left Super key instead of alt f1, you get the same result.

One thing that you can do is press alt+f1 and type part of the app name.
I press alt+f1 and type th to find thunderbird.
After that press enter to activate the app.

And is there a way to assign shortcuts or do I have to keep searching
for softwares always through the menus?
Like by default I get all the shortcuts for my launcher in Unity.
Window key + 1 will open the home folder, 2 will open Firefox etc.
Happy hacking.

Just hit super + a for the apps list. Working for me.
No ctrl+alt+tab needed.

In gnome-shell 3.8. you can press the super_key+a and tab.

Booted the Ubuntu-gnome 13.04 version.
In live mode, I managed to start Orca.
But after pressing alt + f1 I can't hear any thing with navigation
keys.
I expected to hear a list of favorite softwares.
The top panel is accessible including network etc.
Can some one tell me how to access the fav application list?
I thought that there was a list of default applications which one
could pick from a menu which comes up after alt + f1.
Kindly let me know if this is incorrect.
happy hacking.
