I am at times experiencing this problem, but it seems to happen at 
random, with no specific trigger, so it's very hard to track it down. I 
have been able to work around this by selecting "Open terminal" from the 
context menu, switching to the previous terminal and closing it. For 
some reason, this seems to temporarily fix the problem. Hope this helps.
