[orca-list] trying to find a way to create shortcuts in gnome classic

Hello all,
I saw an email on this list about creating shortcuts.
I wish to know the method for creating shortcuts in gnome classic, since the instructions were I guess for 
unity 2d.
I installed gnome classic (wondering still if gnome shell is pritty accessible or not).
ONly thing I need in the gnome classic is the way to create desktop shortcuts.
