Re: [orca-list] wine and accessibility?

Hi,

I really really doubt it. Orca can't access apps under Wine because they don't use the Linux accessibility APIs and Windows screen readers won't work because there are a bunch of missing dependencies required to make Windows apps accessible through Wine. I just don't see this realistically happening without a lot of work from the open source community.

From what i've heard wine is basically inaccessible. Does anyone know if there's any hope of it becoming
accessible?
