Re: [orca-list] Orca Keyboard Commands

Hello Corey,
Pressing the Preferences button you will find all settings for Orca. Right arrow to see the tabs and with the arrow down and up and the tab key you will navigate.
You will find a list of Orca shortcut keys by twice pressing the Orca key, Insert or Capslock, and H.
Alt_F1 takes you to Dash Home and from there arrow-down the list of applications in the starter menu. You will find Firefox or LibreOffice Writer and pressing the Enter key will start a slected application. You can add or delete applications from this list.
The Escape key brings you to the desktop again if no choice was made.
Alt_F10 takes you to the Notificator and with arrow right or left you can walk through the various options. With arrow-down you will find more options.
Pressing the Super key, the key between the left Control and Alt key, you will find all installed applications. You can arrow down the list.
Within an application F10 takes you to the menubar.
Have fun.

Subject: [orca-list] Orca Keyboard Commands

Hi I am a new Linux user,

I am just getting started with Orca and I just installed Ubuntu 12.4 and I was wondering if there is any special setup or what hot keys get you to the desktop and where I can find a list of recommended programs to install.

I have been using Windows since Windows 95 so this is new to me and it is exciting.

Thanks in advance.

Corey
