Yes I can confirm this.
I pressed ctrl+k and then pressed alt + down arrow.
I can hear the list of search engines with Orca all right, but after I
select one, I still hear search using Google, as if the search has the
static label.
Happy hacking.

Hello, everyone!
I am not sure if anyone else here uses different search engines on the
search bar within Firefox, and I do not recall seeing this posted
anywhere, so I was wondering if this is a known issue. When in
Firefox, pressing the CTRL+ALT+K key combination will place you within
the search bar in Firefox. In most Linux distributions the default
search engine is google. By pressing CTRL+ALT+Down and CTRL+ALT+Up one
can choose a different search engine (e.g. Amazon, eBay, etc) for use.
I notice that when I change the search engine to be used that Orca
will repeat, regardless of the chosen search engine, "Search using
Google: Entry". Does anyone else have the same experience?
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Firefox.
2. Press CTRL+ALT+K to jump to the search entry field.
3. Press CTRL+ALT+Down to switch to a diffrent search engine.
4. Notice that regardless of which search engine you go to, Orca will
repeat "Search using Google: Entry".
5. Perss CTRL+ALT+Up until Orca no longer speaks and you will be
returned to the Google search option.
Thanks for any input on this one. I know that there are more important
issues to be solved than this, but I just wanted to see if anyone else
could confirm this. This is an inexperienced assumption, but could it
be taht Firefox is not reporting to Orca that the search engine has
been changed?
Thanks again, and take care.
