I'm having a problem compiling orca under fedora 17.
./autogen.sh
generates a lot of stuff but at the bottom:
checking for GTK... no
configure: error: Package requirements (gtk+-3.0 >= 3.1.91) were not met:
No package 'gtk+-3.0' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GTK_CFLAGS
and GTK_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
I think I've done this:
printenv GTK_LIBS
-L/usr/lib64 -lgtk
It's harder to show GTK_CFLAGS since they're empty
I've cloned the gtk+ repository but I suspect that's a hard way to go.
Has anyone else succeeded with a Fedora compile and did they have to
install gtk+ from source?
thanks in advance
Peter
