hi,
that unfortunately depends on the programmer of the web interface how
much you can do from there.
i also saw a device which you where able to do everything from the web
too and some where you just where able to do minimal things.
that just not being tv equipment.
i have a internet radio and a sip phone which have pretty everything
accessible via the web interface but there are still parts i can't get
access to.
greetings,
simon

A far simpler approach, imo, one that may already be available today, is
to use a browser to access the interface on these devices. I would
provide specific examples, but I don't happen to have any of these
devices. I do have SIP phones, however, that work exactly this way and
they're very easily administered in this fashion.
My suggestion, and my request to anyone who has access to these, is to
associate the device with their home lan and launch a browser to the
resulting IP address. It won't matter whether the connection is wired or
wireless, though associating the wirless device might be just a bit
trickier without sighted assistance.

hi,
i also guess interesting would be if orca might also run together
with MythTV or other software so you have a talking satellite
receiver and recorder.
