Re: [orca-list] QUESTION PLEASE

In Firefox, I just over select what I want to copy and then either paste
it directly where I want it and edit it to just what I want, or I'll
paste it into gedit and do the editing there. In vinux, there's also a
nice command, Orca+r, which will read the clipboard to you. This is
useful to check if you got everything you wanted copied or not.

Hi,
It depends on which software you are using.
I don't find this problem with a text editor such as gedit.
office writer also works just the same.
Probably you are facing this problem with Firefox?
Happy hacking.

I am new to orca and have one question.
When I am selecting some text orca doesn't announce the selected text.
So I don't know when the text is selected to where I want to stop.
I would like to know how to get orca to announce each letter as I
select it.
I appreciate your assistance.
