Yes, I notice this.

In fact sometimes I can't get any speech at all from Orca after restarting it with the --replace option. But as you say, usually it's just the menus.

I find that if you need to restart Orca it's better to do so by quitting it completely then restarting it rather than using the --replace option on an already running Orca.
