I save attachments in Thunderbird all of the time, so I do know it is
possible! :-) I generally just use the File -> Attachments menu.

Hello,
I've configured Icedove, also known as Thunderbird to fetch my Mails. I'm a Mutt
user and just testing Icedove in Version 3.0. Mail reading is fine, but saving
attachments seems not to be possible. On file/attachments, only a footer (*.txt)
of the mail with the attachment is visible, but not the file I need (*.doc).
I've tried to find an option to allow all kind of attachments, but there's no
such setting. In the internet, I find only
tipps like "double-click the attachment".
What is the correct way to save attachments?
Thanks
Sebastian
