3. User agents, such as Firefox, should not expose objects with
aria-hidden to screen readers such as Orca.
I don't consider this part particularly interesting, but it is worth
noting the spec says "should" not "must" which has somewhat different
meaning in the spec world afaik.
4. Sadly, apparently Firefox is failing to hide aria-hidden elements
from Orca and as a result, Orca still reads the content.
actually that's intentional see the discussion in
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=780888
for why aria-hidden is bad as specified.
As for what you should use that depends on what you are trying to
accomplish, but
