A while back I was playing with Firefox extension creation to see how
hard it would be to resurrect (or redo) that navigation bundle. It's
actually quite easy -- and more performant, and more stable in terms of
not crashing firefox -- to do it as an extension. Resurrecting the
navigation bundle might therefore be worth considering.
