Hi,
I gave skype a try on a 32-bit machine running ubuntu 12.04 and orca
3.4.1. I can make and receive calls, navigate and set options, browse
my contacts list, and look at some other events. I cannot read skype
text chats or determine contacts' statuses. One thing I found, however,
if skype has been running a while (2 hours or so), access to my running
gtk apps gets flaky. For instance, today, when skype had been running
about an hour, I tried using 'orca+t' key to check time. No time
announcement. When I switched to a running t-bird, it looked like the
orca script for t-bird was either not running, or had some trouble
responding. 'orca+space' did not even bring up preferences. Shutting
down skype did not correct this. I ended up shutting down, in order to
do something off-line. Upon my return to the machine, I restarted, and
had no sound.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi.
One problem is that skype is a 32-bit application and my installation is
a 64-bit environment.
By this reason skype can not use the qt access bridge.
In my environment, no accessibility with skype.

Hello
I don't have the ubuntu 12.04 lts.
I've heart that skype works there.
Can anyone give me any info on it's accessibility status?
