Hi krishnakant.
Seems that compile the latest orca in 11.10 is not easy because it
requires a lot of dependencies.
We need a new version of python-gobject, we need to recompile atk,
at-spi2-core and at-spi2-atk.
There is also a new version of a library but in the moment I don't
remember its name.
The accessibility in ubuntu 12.04 is very good and is what I am using now.
There are some fixes made in orca and at-spi2 but I am not sure if they
will be present in final 12.04.
But is not difficult recompile orca and at-spi2 in 12.04.

Hi Petra,
Firstly I have seen best accessibility off late on Ubuntu 12.04 which
every one is aware.
So I guess firefox 11.0 is the last version and accessibility is
perfect as much as I am concerned.
It does not crash, navigation is very snappy and orca echos what ever
I type in entry fields, including address and search entries.
So firstly update your version of firefox and see what happens.
Further more, I am myself in a hopeless situation about compiling
latest version of Orca.
I would at least like to compile Orca 3.4 on Ubuntu 11.10 but no one
yet has given me a correct solution.
With the latest version of Orca and ff with all updates to Unity on
11.10, I think all would be well.
Happy hacking.

Hello,
On my Ubuntu 11.10 system Fiirefox chrashed allways.
I am not able to work 10 minuts with out having Firefox chrashed.
If firefox chrashhed it pulls Unity down, too and i am umable to do any
things on Unity. I am able to change with CTRL+Altfx to a text console.
I am not sure wether I am able to restart Unity from a text console
I run on my Ubuntu systen Firefox 10.0.2 and Orca 3.2.1
Are this version compatible?
Maybe Firefox doen't cause the problem but before I install a new driver
for the grapfic card I like to make sure that the problem is not caused
by the access technology
Thenks for the Help
Best regards
