Hey all.
Periodically, and it seems more recently, there is discussion regarding
problems/bugs using Orca with Firefox. For what it's worth, we've not
changed Orca's support for Firefox in a while. That means that new
problems are likely due to an uncaught introspection port bug or due to
a change in Firefox/Gecko. In the latter case, it might be a
Firefox/Gecko bug or it might be merely a change Orca will have to
adjust to.
In order to make it possible to triage these issues in a more timely
fashion, it would be extremely helpful if you all could:
1. File bugs in bugzilla. (Discussion on the list is fine, but if the
end result is that there is a bug and that bug does not get filed,
that bug is in danger of not being looked at.)
2. Include in the bug filed a full debug.out. A couple of different
options for doing so: http://live.gnome.org/Orca/Debugging
3. Download and test earlier versions of Firefox in your GNOME 3.2
environment. Can you reproduce the Firefox 7.0 bug in Firefox 6.0?
What about 5.0? Add this information to the bug.
4. For any initial list discussion in which the topic is just Firefox
and not all things Orca, indicate this in the subject of your
message.
Thanks in advance!
