[orca-list] Orca reacts slowly in pidgin

Hello,

I've installed orca with the german version of voxin on 
the netbook of my girlfriend. But it seems to react much more slowly 
than she is used to from JAWS. For example, when pressing F6 to jump 
into the messaging window, it takes a little while (maybe 0.2s) until 
orca starts to speak. In the buddy list it is even slower.

On the other hand it reacts instantly, when for example reading text in gedit.

Is there any possibility to fix that?
