It will if there's a working Sane driver for it.

I always investigate the driver situation before I purchase hardware, since if
it isn't well supported by Linux, I can't use it and won't buy it. I am in the
fortunate position, however, of having chosen Linux as my operating system
long before acquiring any of the hardware that I now use, so I don't have any
old hardware to deal with that was purchased for a non-Linux operating system.
