Hey there Renee, try the following to get the ubuntu maverick CD booted
with orca.
1. When you hear your CD drive start spinning, press the spacebar
several times. This should bring up the standard select language dialogue.
2. press enter (should be English)
3. press f-5, then the number 3, then enter twice. This should get the
live system up and running for you with Orca, so you can install it on
your hard drive. I hope this helps, any questions, feel free to ask.
Later,
Guy

Hi,
I'm a newbie of Ubuntu and Gnome with Orca :-)
How I need to do to load from the Live CD/DVD during booting Orca in
Maverick? It seems the boot menu has been changed in this edition.
TIA -René
