[orca-list] how accessible are swt based applications like eclipse?

Hello all.
I am currently working on a project to make a accounting frontend for 
GNUKhata, www.gnukhata.org a foss based accounting software.
This front end will be based on Java Standard Widget toolkit.
I guess eclipse is made using swt, so I feel Orca works very well with it.
But I still want to know for sure.
I have seen in eclipse, backspace just keeps saing "end of line " and 
does not read the character I delete.
This does not happen in the dialogs or popups but in the source code 
editing window, this problem does appear.
