Hi,
I removed my top Gnome panel not realizing that I could not get it back.
A friend sent me these instructions to rebuild my panels to the default, but 
although I got no errors while running the below commands, it did not 
rebuild my panels.
I am using Ubuntu 10.10.

In terminal enter the 3 following. What this will do is kill all the panels
and rebuild them all to the default you originally had.



gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel

rm -rf /.gconf/apps/panel

pkill gnome-panel
