Hello,
I don't see the problem you mention, however I am using orca, 
at-spi2-core, at-spi2-atk and pyatspi from git. If you want to try the 
at-spi2 stuff from git then I have made some builds in AUR called; 
at-spi2-core-git, at-spi2-atk-git and pyatspi-git.

Another thing worth doing might be: see if the stable version of orca (I 
think 3.0.2) works. If that works then you know it is an orca issue, if 
not then it may be lurking in at-spi2 or something else.
