What is the latest version of orca any of you have used in squeeze?
2.91.
Is it even possible to use later versions than 2.30?
Yes, it is. You can e. g. use the version from experimental, see Apt-Pinning[1]
on how to install software from experimental. It runs fine here. Alternatively
you can build it from source, I guess the 2.9*-versions will run.
