hi Michael, Try the following: 1. cp the file /etc/pulse/default.pa to your homedir/.pulse 2. open the ~/.pulse/default.pa in your editor and disable automatic load of modules and force pulse to use alsa's dmix. After that pulse will not block the audiocard and you don't need to setup a alsa/pulse configuration. See attached default.pa. This is my current setup and works well here!
