Hi,
I did.  It's a mostly manual process, as far as the old glibc libraries 
are concerned, and I have had no luck with Orca, though the Speakup 
connector from ttsynth works quite nicely.  Fortunately for anybody 
wanting to try this, the Voxin archive you download includes an easily 
accessible copy of the old glibc version you need.  I just moved it into 
/usr/lib, hardly an ideal solution but it works.
