Hi,
If you want a dirty hack, simply source your /etc/profile file
in your orca start script /usr/bin/orca
/etc/profile should contain the speechd_adress variable eg.:
export SPEECHD_ADDRESS=unix_socket:/var/run/speech-dispatcher/speechd.sock
