Re: [orca-list] Fedora 13?

Hi Jinina,
Thanks for your help; i'm working on it. I think i might have found a way we will be able to use the live installer. It does sort of work, however not well. I'm going to see if I can modify the fedora install scripts and change it to make it more accessible. The liveinst application is relatively accessible, it's just the little bits at the end that need finishing off.

Hi, Ashley:

You set up root during installation. As far as I know, that's it.
Individual user accounts are easy to add once the system is up, of
course, with the 'useradd' command, for instance.

I should hasten to add that I'm only familiar with the text-based
installer for Fedora. The graphical installer remains inaccessible. I
don't know even whether getting the Live installer working will give us
whatever all is in the graphical installer Fedora uses, though we can
hope. Surely we need to get Live installation working--no question.

Hi Jinina!
Thanks for the help! i'd been looking into that today and couldn't
figure out why it was missing. This confirms it! So, am I right in
thinking that you now setup the username/password in the installer?
Thanks!
