[orca-list] Question about Accerciser

When I start up Accerciser and look at the help/about dialog, it
appears that it was last updated and copyright by IBM in 2007; yet
this latest version found on the gnome FTP site is 1.9.3 from late
2009.  The change log refers to using git to get latest changes.  So
who maintains accerciser now and where should go to get latest
version? Should I be using git versions for latest stuff instead of
the "production" version?  

- From the looks of things, I have a lot to learn to know how to get
much out of the output from this program.  So far, I got a trace back
concerning the need for PYpython; I haven't found that module yet.

Any ideas?
