Re: [orca-list] Firefox caret gets caught on links?

Yes, I have been seeing this seemingly more frequently in recent
time. I'm mostly using version 3.5.9 of Firefox and latest git-pulls
of Orca. Sometimes I can get out of that point by hitting the
downarrow several times in rapid succession to move past it;
otherwise, I have to hit tab or some other structural navigation
command to move on. Wonder if it has anything to do with dead
accessibles. I still can't quite comprehend what dead accessibles are
but understand them to be the root cause of many Firefox related bugs
with Orca.

Dunno if FF 3.6.5+ would be any better in this regard but frankly I
find 3.6 versions of Firefox to be to unstable for my tasts - to many
navigation bugs and that bookmarks dialog is completely broken!

Hi.

Since a few months now, I keep observing a problem in Firefox which
initially looked like a crash to me. Now I seem to have isolated at
least a description of the behaviour. When I use the firefox caret to
navigate a page it can happen that once I am on a link I can no longer
move away from that position, neither down nor up nor sideways.

Did anyone else observe this already? It is not 100% reproducible, but
seems to happen pretty often.
