To elaborate a little more on this -  the document can be opened in Evince and to read the document the user has to use the given key binding. Then the document is read by Orca. In the backend - to make this happen, the file opens in firefox and the control is transferred there, closing the evince document.

One of the main concerns would be to be able to open this document in Evince and be able to read it like any other document.  Maybe the Evince team also would need to implement a tagging document option just like Adobe Reader does.  I definitely appreciate your work on this project but just suggesting another option.  To make accessible pdf's I believe whether in open source or proprietary work it's important to have multiple options.
