Hello folks, Here are some multimedia questions I'm still missing on using my ubuntu. Is it possible to configure Totem Movie Player to use ALSA as the audio driver, in case I decide to uninstall PulseAudio? I tried using VLC Media Player as an alternative, since it can handle several multimedia formats, but I found that it breaks orca speech. As a test, I've enabled autospawn on /home/.pulse/client.conf to see if I could obtain a better result, but the story was the same. Plaies everything but I can't use VLC's media player with Orca's assistance. Also, since removing pulseaudio leaves us with no possibility of adjusting sound settings, is there a configuration file that allows us to change certain sound parameters (in particular sound themes)? Thanks in advance for your support. In practise ALSA is really doing a great job on my laptop but I have to get used to the fact that things change a little when using accessibility profile since instalation. Again, thanks.
