Re: [orca-list] stopping orca speech for online listening

Hi,

The easiest way to deal with this problem is to disable speech. Press Orca_modifier+s to disable and then re-enable speech as you need.

Hi,

Test the BBC Cornwall player page with orca, pressing any key interrupts the speech as expected.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/playlive/bbc_radio_cornwall/

Please let me how to reproduce this problem.

Cheers

Subject: [orca-list] stopping orca speech for online listening

Wonder if there is a way arround this?

When trying to listen to online audio, I find that orca is constantly reading the page.  Not sure if this is the page refreshing or orca rereading the page.

To Reproduce this, go to http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

From the plus side, orca does a better job of handelling the java than my windows screenreader.

This is an online receiver.  Try to listen to the output of the receiver.

A less severe example:-

www.bbc.co.uk/cornwall and choose the "listen live link.

Using debian squeeze.

Thanks for any help.
