Hi,
my sister sometimes needs to convert her study materials to audio
files to be able to use them in some portable audio player. I know,
that there is possible to convert a text file to wav with espeak via
console and then maybe to MP3 with ffmpeg (most audio player also
support directly wav so the second step is not always necessary).
However, this method is not much user friendly.
Maybe it would be nice to create some tool (like context menu in
Nautilus "Convert text to audio file", or some simple GTK dialog -
just "Set input text", then "Save audio file as" and press "OK" to get
the file) which would do this job much easier.
Is there already a tool like this or are there any plans in this area?
regards
Helios
