Hello,
I think this might be another issue with ensuring at-spi starts early
enough. If orca is started but at-spi isn't then orca will exit.
This happens on my debian system as well. Sorry but I don't have a solution.
Regarding brltty, there could be many issues. The main one I would
suggest is have you set up authorisation correctly (create a file
/etc/brlapi.key and give any user who should be able to access the
Braille display read access to the file, chmod 644 /etc/brlapi.key will
give every user access to brltty). I do notice on my debian system if I
log out and back into gnome then for some reason orca can't access
brltty (gnome moves up a virtual terminal for some reason, but it does
that on my ArchLinux system but doesn't prevent access to brltty).
Hope that gives some ideas as to what is wrong, and may be for the
Braille access helps.

Dear ammazing Orca developers,
I would like to valuably please you, if You would try to help
programmers of Mandriva One 2010 distro and PC Linuxoss distro to fix
following issue with Orca.
Orca is not able to run automatically and must be always run tvice.
This
issue even exists when Orca is being running in The setup mode.
Very long time problem, Orca can not cooperate with Brltty. Is it
because Brltty components must be always installed before compiling
Orca? In
other cases, Braille support will not work?
This issue is in Orca version started from version 2.28, even In Orca
shipped with Gnome 2.30 is this issue presented.
Direct download link for getting PCLINUXOSS 2010.0 mini Gnome is

Thank You very much for Yours answers.
With kindness regards.
