I agree get firefox working first.  However I think this at-spi bug is 
causing problems with more than just usb-creator as I see thread issues in 
eclipse and other things as well.  If someone can give me an idea of where 
to look in at-spi I can try looking at this as well but I am no expert in 
either at-spi or C so no guarantees.
