[orca-list] problem with deja-dup

i have just installed karmic on my desktop and also installed 
deja-dup.
however the furthest i can get with deja-dup is "location is 
already mounted" and a close button and i can't seem to be able 
to locate with orca the progress of my backup so i am wondering 
if this message is causing deja-dup to not write to my blank dvd.
hope someone can advise me on this.
